I bought the Mario Kart 8 premium bundle and also Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Smash Bros. I also bought Link and DK amiibos to go with it.
Not even a week old I've finished the main levels in DK Tropical Freeze and played a fair bit of the other games too. Donkey Kong has always been a favourite of mine ever since playing it over my friend's house on the snes all those years ago.
Growing up, I had a NES but that was my only Nintendo console. Everything else was Mega Drive and Playstation etc.
So I missed out on a lot of classics like Mario & Zelda that were later released until buying a DS and 3DS but I hardly ever play them so still didn't quite get into all the titles I wanted as I loved my PS3.
But now I have the Wii U! I plan on buying the previous Zelda titles I've missed as well as any future ones. I believe one is being released at the end of this year :)
I've decided though, to only buy Nintendo exclusive games for the Wii U and buy the others for PS4.
So you can now expect a lot more Nintendo updates on my blog, starting with DK Tropical Freeze :)

ReplyDeleteCheers Ol! DKC Returns was awesome and Tropical Freeze is very good but I think Returns beats it but not by much. The bosses are tricky though. You can lose a fair few lives whilst trying to learn the patterns!
