This past weekend was my best mate's stag do so we decided to hit Alton Towers! Out of the six of us that went only 3 brave souls descended upon The Smiler! Those were Jay, Joel and myself, 3 legends, one scary looking coaster and a creepy logo!
The Smiler is the world's first 14 looping roller coaster so needless to say we were all a bit anxious especially watching the next group of victims climb its vertical
After exchanging worried glances we decided to challenge the beast that awaited us. Yeah! Nothing was going to stop us! Nope! Nothing at...what's that music they're playing?
Hahaha, hahaha, hahahahahaha!
Freakiest chanting ever! As if we weren't feeling nervous enough! We had to listen to that for at least 2 hours!
It did remind me of the Joker from Batman. Just check out this description from the Alton Towers website:
Intoxicating laughing gas? Yeah that's definitely the Joker! Where's Batman when you need him?
However this was a great ride despite its 14 loops! You can never have enough loops! Ah but man that creepy music! I'd highly recommend this coaster but be warned...I haven't stopped grinning since!
