Cardiff Comic Con November 8th 2014

This was my 3rd comic con of the year (Cardiff, New York, Cardiff) and it was a wet one. The weather was on another level but it didn't seem to dampen peoples spirits. Cosplayers were still aplenty and the Motorpoint Arena was as busy as ever!

This time the comic writers and artists were on the 2nd floor and I actually visited the gaming zone for the first time. It could have done with being a little bigger though, there were loads of people packed into that small room. I didn't get a chance to do any gaming but I have plenty of that at home to keep me happy.

This was also the first comic con I didn't buy anything! Crazy! I didn't even have any autographs or photoshoots. I think it was because New York Comic Con was only a month ago and I was spoilt, it was amazing so coming to Cardiff so soon after felt a bit deflated. There were some good guests from Craig Charles to Game Of Thrones actors but nobody I really wanted to meet this time around.

Some of the merchandise didn't compare to New York however.

As usual there were plenty of Deadpools and Spideys. I also bumped into my friend Joel who I went to New York with. He was cosplaying as Cody from Street Fighter and was dressed in orange so easy to find. Me and my best mate Andrew then played 'find the Joel' from the balcony above looking down on the hundreds of visitors below and...he found him in 10 seconds. Yeah, that orange really stands out!

Spot the Joel!
This was probably my least favourite con because I didn't meet any of the stars and New York was fresh in my mind. I'm sure come March it will be a blast though!
